Tech Insider: Parallel Programming Using MATLAB® and Python
May 14th, 2008
2:00 PM ET / 11:00 AM PT / 18:00 GMT (Duration: 1 hour)
Learn how to build, optimize and run parallel programs using MATLAB® and Python for multi-core and high-performance computing clusters! Interactive Supercomputing will share insights on how to eliminate the time and costs associated with migrating Very High Level Language (VHLL) code and applications to low-level languages like C and Fortran and eliminate the need to know the details of parallel programming with paradigms like the Message Passing Interface (MPI) or OpenMP.
A live demo of Star-P will be presented along with the workflow associated with building a parallel application from scratch to deploy on multi-core workstations or large scale clusters.
