Going Global: The Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE) project began in 2004 with partners at 40 sites, mostly in Europe. It now has partners at nearly 200 sites in about 40 countries [white dots] around the world. The grid's CPU count and storage capacity [shown in terabytes] are constantly fluctuating. The figures here are a snapshot of the infrastructure in May 2006.
